A Day in the Life of the Farmers Market Annex ~ Set Up

Every weekend from May through October, the Farmers Market Annex is open from 6:30am – 1:30pm, but to have everyone in place and ready to go the vendors start arriving as early as 2:30am to set up.  These same vendors have to disassemble their stores at the end of a long day, and then come back and do it all over again just a few hours later.  Kudos to their tenacity and entrepreneurial spirit!

It would be interesting to have a camera in place documenting one weekend’s activity from a certain vantage point, like they do for flowers growing or watching the movement of the stars.  I can’t do that because I’m all over the place managing the Market, but I can purpose to take some shots throughout the day and try to give you a glimpse into the inner workings of our Market!  That’s my goal this weekend, June 9-10th, and I’m telling everyone becasue then I’m accountable to get it done.
